MexicoSmileGuide is an independent guide to the cost and process of getting dental care in Mexico, written for patients traveling from the United States and Canada.

Why it exists

Roughly a million North Americans a year cross the border for dental work, mostly because a treatment that costs $30,000 at home costs $10,000 in Mexico. But the information online is dominated by clinics marketing themselves and agencies selling packages. It's hard to find a straight answer to two questions: what will this actually cost me, all in? and which clinics can I trust?

This site answers the first with a transparent price model, and works toward the second with a documented verification standard.

What we are — and aren't

• We are a comparison and verification service.
• We are not a dental clinic, a dentist, or a travel agency. We don't provide treatment and we don't sell trips.
• Nothing on the site is medical advice.

How we stay independent

We're funded by referral fees from verified clinics and by travel-partner affiliate links, both fully disclosed. Clinics can't buy verification, rankings or coverage. Read the disclosure and editorial policy.
